1st Annual CT Film Fest Interactive Art Awards

Call to Artists:

The CT Film Festival invites all digital artists to enter their digital art or animations for a juried show on Saturday, June 6 to be held at the Danbury Arena as part of the last day of the Festivals' Digital/Interactive programming. The show will be judged by Dr. William Joel of Western CT State University's Center for Graphics Research, Shay Casey (aka Se7en), a digital illustrator and video game designer and Thomas K. Gillespie, Director of Interactive Communications at Quinnipiac University (who specializes in interactive storytelling, computer game design, 3D modeling and computer animation). Entry Requirements/Formats

All pieces must be original, substitutions are not guaranteed to be accepted.

The art can be displayed in prints to be hung in public view, on a reel loop on digital screens or as a screensaver on a laptop.

Screensaver: Appropriate to 1920 x 1080 DPI, Hi-Res JPG or PNG Format.

Animations: should be MPEG 4 or h.264 , Flash SWF on CD/DVD.

Prints: Maximum, Tabloid Size, 11 x 17, Plastic Frames Only.

There is no fee to enter. CTFF Interactive does not own the rights to your artwork. We reserve the right to use your artwork in our promotions. If you would like your artwork returned, please send art in a postage paid package. Please make sure they are packed in non bendable materials, no glass.

Prizes will be announced at the event and will be awarded at 5:45pm, just seconds before the Keynote Address is delivered. You do no have to be present to win; we will mail your prize if this is the case.
